I’ve collected more information about Catrice’s new Limited Edition called feMALE. :)

What Catrice says:

Overall
Hmm, I think I like it. I’m curious about some products (Eye Aquarelle Duo Chalks, Cream To Powder Blush & Soft Touch Nail Lacquer), but this isn’t a collection that make me goes: “WOW! :| ” The colors are a little bit cool, in my opinion and I also don’t really like the packaging, I think it doesn’t fit the theme very well..

Catrice feMALE is exclusively sold at Kruidvat and Trekpleister (the Netherlands), from mid-March until April 2012.

For some reason, this doesn’t really tickle my fancy. I never tend to go for curved brushes, even though they might work well. Sad that this mascara doesn’t come in a waterproof formula too!

From this Summer 2012, all these mascara’s will become a part of Essence’s standard collection.

Overall:
I like the packaging of the mascara’s, I like the bright details! I’ll try the new waterproof mascara, how can I resist at such a low price? I’m sad that this Trend Edition contains products that will become a part of Essence’s standard collection.. Why call it a Trend Edition then? I’m a little confused..

I love warm, soft colors. They really compliment my (and a lot of people’s) skintone and they always look fresh. This may be the reason why I’m in love with Catrice’s new Limited Edition: Nymphelia!

Hmm, green mascara? Original, that’s for sure! Not for me, though. I like extreme looks, but I can aso add some green pigment on top of my lashes, to make them look green. The mascara has to be replaced after three months of use anyway, so using a pigment is much easier!

Overall:
Again, as with a lot of Catrice’s Limited Editions, I’m in love! These colors are so warm, soft & beautiful and they really suit me. I really like the packaging as well, especially those lipglosses! I can’t wait to try out these products, I think this will become a popular Limited Edition. What I don’t really understand though, is that some of the products are also being added to Catrice’s standard collection, which makes the term ‘Limited Edition’ a little misleading perhaps.. Oh well, I like the collection anyways!

I can’t dream about snow coming anymore, since it’s now past the Holidays. I’m longing for spring 2012 already! But… Essence keeps the winter spirit coming with their icy new Trend Edition called Crystalliced!

Overall:
I like the packaging of these items, simple but pretty. And the white details really suit the collection, of course! I think this collection will surprise me, as the colors don’t really look very interesting, but I’m very curious about the finishes of all the products!
